I am going to build a custom A/V switcher. I found details on engadget and it is exactly what I have looked for. This way I can hook up all 12+ systems to my television without daisy-chaining switch boxes or having to plug and unplug cables. It’s also going to save me a ton of cash and that’s the most important part.

This is one amazing machine that I am firmly convinced is made with voodoo and witchcraft. The AR Cards are fantastic to play with. Slap a card down and out pops a character right there on your table. They are even interactive and one has games that you play with it. I can not get over how much fun it is to shoot at targets that are appearing on my desk.
I have not been this excited about a console in years and can’t wait to play all the games I have downloaded and see where Nintendo goes from here. I will admit I don’t use the 3D as it gives me a headache but from what I did watch it is very well done. I have already been told that I need to pick up the new Kid Icarus and the latest Mario Kart. Nintendo hit a home run with this one in my opinion.
I am so happy to have this system to match my Zelda DS Lite. Now I just need the Zelda GBA.
I finally got an XBox
Thanks to my buddy Kenny I now own an original Microsoft XBox. Kenny gave it to me because the DVD drive was bad. I was able to swap it out and can now say that I have played Halo. Now I just need to get Knights of the old Republic 1 & 2.
Also there is a new retro-game store in Augusta, Video Game Heaven! I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out.
My latest toy
I found this in a thrift store for $20! It’s a Sega Genesis CDX
Source
The Sega CDX was a 16-bit video game console released in 1994, combining the Sega Genesis and one of its add-ons, the Sega CD, into a single compact unit as a final attempt by Sega to encourage consumer interest in its fledgling Mega-CD format. It’s retail price in North America was $399 with an estimated 5,000 sold.
I’m still at it
Not a week goes by that I am not checking craigslist, hitting play n’ trade, or going to the flea market to find stuff. The problem I keep having is that some people are crazy with their prices. At the flea market I will find games that are common for $5-10 and at play n’ trade they are $1. Just because someone posted it on ebay for that amount does not mean that is what it’s worth. Drives me insane.
