Originally released for the Famicon, The Goonies was never offically released in the U.S. The only reason I knew it existed at all was because it was in the Player’s Choice 10 arcade machine at a Pizza Hutt I frequented. It’s a reproduction and I’m kind of mad at myself for not getting the Konami syle label on it. I’m going to order the box and manual when I can find one I like.
I still got it
Last night I decided to play Shadowgate on the NES for the first time in 20 years. Less than 40 minutes later I finished. Lucas got nothing on me.

The boy has ruined Zelda 4 Swords
Today the boy managed to unlock the office door, climb up a bookcase, grab my big box copy of Zelda 4 Swords Adventure, and rip it apart because he “wanted to play Zelda on my DS”. Off to Ebay to try and find another. /cry
Completed The Age of Darkness Trilogy
This game felt like it took forever. One of the mistakes I made was making one team and sticking with them. Having Paladins instead of the Fighter and Thief would have made life easier. I also could have replaced the Wizard with another Cleric. Fighting through Castle Exodus wasn’t hard I just needed more Cure Poison spells.
I am so happy that I have completed the Age of Darkness Trilogy, only 11 more games to go.
