I picked up a pretty cool collectible for SotA the other day off eBay. I can’t wait for the final version to sit on the shelf beside this one. I also have to wonder if it’s cool that I own this.
I have never played this game and can’t wait to fire it up. I now have the first two Pitfall games for the 2600 CIB. w00t!!
I have decided to keep track of what I am playing and how well I am doing.
The past week has been all about Hyrule Warriors Legends on the 3DS. I have never played any of the Dynasty Warriors games before until I bought Hyrule Warriors on the Wii U. I enjoyed it but never got the chance to play it since Little Wyatt hogs the Wii U. The 3DS version is really close to the original and is a great pick up, play for 5 minutes, put down kind of game. I needed something like this for a while now. I’m still not 100% sure what I am doing or supposed to do but I’m having a lot of fun doing it. I’ve focused on Adventure mode and have only completed the first area in Legend mode.
When I do get on the Wii U I am playing Twilight Princess HD. This has always been one of my favorite Zelda games and the remastered version is beautiful. I just finished the first dungeon and am heading to the 2nd area.
On the PC I have started playing Ultima VII Part Two: Serpent Isle. Waiting so long to start back was a stupid move on my part as I have had to spend a couple of days figuring out where I was at and what I had already accomplished. I just completed the quests in the Sleeping Boar Inn and started searching for the mint to free Captain Hawk. I had to read a walkthrough to figure out where I was and what I had already accomplished. I’m devoting an hour or two a night until I win this game.
I am playing the GOG.com version and not Exult this playthrough to keep it original and because I secretly hate myself.
I love my friends. My buddy Keith picked this beauty up for me and it still WORKS! Of course even after reading the instructions I have no clue how to play it. Kids today don’t understand the struggle we had to face in the 70’s.
I have lost my mind. I am in the process of rearranging my room again. At least this time I have a good reason. I am building a new desk to accommodate my monitor setup and to give Jenni room for her papers when she is working. There is even going to room for my electronic repairs.
I decided to start by boxing up all of my games, consoles, books, toys, etc. When I have the furniture arranged, I will catalog each item as it goes on a shelf. I realize this is going to take a couple of months but the payout will be worth it. I will have a database with an entry of each item including title, type, system, year, notes, picture, and more. This will all be searchable on this site, Why am I doing this? Because I am tired of buying games I already own or passing on ones that I think I own.
I will take down all the photo galleries and put up new ones with links to their database entry. My goal is to have this done by March 2016.
